The color wheel and hot/warm and cool colors

Objective: learn about the color wheel and color theory while drawing and  coloring in a dog and cat.

*crayola crayons, 16 count

*Extra large crayons, 8 count
*Painter's tape to hold paper securely in place
*Extra large pencil with grip

Advanced Supply List
*48 count crayons
*A pencil
*8.5 x 11 inch drawing paper
*Eraser
*Black sharpie marker


Basic/Adaptive Level

Students will color in each animal using cool colors on the cat and the warm colors on the dog.

Advanced Level

Students will add depth to their animal by blending colors with the crayons.  Watch the YouTube video for instruction.
